Summary
Throughout the book Patsy has been using the book like Annie and Charles had told her too. She has been writing down all her thoughts from day one. One of the little girls Nancy was being taken away from Ma'am. Turns out that it was Nancy's real mother who had came to get her, but Ma'am refused because she had raised her since she was a little girl giving her a good home and food to eat at night. You know trying to fight to get your child back she said hurtful words to Ma'am that she had raised her into slavery and that the slavery was done so that she needed to give her back her daughter. Nancy's screaming at the top of her lungs " I DON`T KNOW YOU ". They got into that whole technical and legal business, but then came to the conclusion that they would let Nancy's mother sleep in the house till further notice and things was straightened out.

Reaction;
My reaction towards this section of the book is that it is really sad and I wish sometimes things didn't have to happen the way it does. I'm actually glad i started reading this book. It's changing my perspective on life and how I used to understand slavery.
